Microsoft Corporation has renewed the Microsoft Certified Partner designation for Brooks-Jeffrey Computer Store for a second term, 2008-2009, store co-owner Shannon Brooks has announced, adding that the store must meet annual criteria to maintain the certification.

Status as a Microsoft Certified Partner recognizes the staff’s technological excellence and impact on customers through Microsoft products and services, according to Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steven A. Ballimer and Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group, Allison L. Watson. Store Manager Brian Lane said that since first becoming a Microsoft Certified Partner, certified technicians at BJCS served hundreds of customers in north central Arkansas and southern Missouri – both large and small businesses and residential customers. “We utilize our Microsoft partnership daily to serve customers better with expedited support concerns, software upgrades, and other benefits for which our certification qualifies us,” Lane said.
