Bill
Melbourne of Harrison has joined Brooks-Jeffrey Computer Store’s
staff of technicians and will work in Boone County and its
surrounding counties from Harrison, according to Brian Lane,
store manager and commercial technician. Melbourne will provide
onsite servicing of residential and business computer systems
and networks from a mobile office as well as pickup and delivery
service of computer systems.
Shannon Brooks, store co-owner, said, “The
addition of Melbourne to the staff allows us to better serve
our many customers in the Harrison area. Brian, Bill and other
certified technicians work throughout the region every day
to repair, upgrade, and maintain computer systems, accessories,
and networks.”
In addition to the store’s normal weekday
service from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., emergency service is always
available to established customers, Brooks added.
With nine years of experience, Melbourne joins
other fully certified computer technicians at Brooks-Jeffrey
Computer Store. He has A+ Comp TIA certification. He attended
Phillips Community College at the Stuttgart campus and was
in the US Army National Guard and Reserve for eight years.
He has resided in the Twin Lakes area for 25 years.
Melbourne and his wife, DeShay, a daughter,
MiKayla, and a stepdaughter, Micah Ray, reside in Harrison.
Melbourne enjoys hunting and motorcycle riding. He is a member
of the First United Methodist Church.
