Chandler Completes CompTIA A+ Recertification
MOUNTAIN HOME, Arkansas - Brooks Jeffrey Computer Services (BJCS) Technician, Kyle Chandler, recently completed the requirements for Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ recertification. CompTIA A+ is the recognized standard for professional information technology (IT) certification.
Chandler earned his initial A+ certification in May 2018. Certifications are valid for a three-year period and require technicians to successfully complete advanced training and continuing education on the latest technology to renew their A+ credentials.
A+ is a performance-based certification that recognizes the technician's ability to perform critical IT support tasks.
A+ certification validates the technician's skills in the key areas of hardware; operating systems; software troubleshooting; networking; hardware and network troubleshooting; security; mobile devices; virtualization and cloud computing; and operational procedures.
Chandler joined Brooks Jeffrey's team of professional, certified technicians in 2019. He is a graduate of Arkansas State University - Mountain Home where he completed ASUMH's Information Systems Technology Program (Networking Specialist). At BJCS, Chandler provides technical support for residential and commercial clients. He also assists with management of the company's internal networks and workstations.
